Each year, in September, we nominated 2 teams (Years 5 and 6) to compete at the Brisbane Curriculum Leaders Maths Tournament. The competition is aimed to stimulate interest in Mathematics and to provide an activity of intellectual fun in a scholarly atmosphere, while fostering interest in creative problem solving. The 2 teams of 5 students compete in a team and a relay event. Students thoroughly enjoy participating in this event and our teachers, parents and caregivers are extremely proud of the students’ achievements and their levels of cooperation and enthusiasm.
