Book Week 2014

​This year we celebrated the Book Week theme of "Connect to Reading" with a range of activities.  We commenced the celebrations with a performance by Perform Educational Musicals in our hall around the shortlisted books the week prior and concluded the week with a dress up parade for our P-2 students.  The students and teachers enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters and showing off their creations.  We paraded in front of  family and friends and danced and listened to some of the short listed stories before heading back to school.  4 lucky students were drawn out of the hat to win a book prize.  Much thanks must go to Mrs Keays for organizing the Book Week celebrations and to the parents for their wonderful creations and to the teachers and students for being such great participants.
