The 2017 Student Leaders were inducted before their fellow students, staff, parents and family members at a whole school assembly and presented with their badges by our special guests, Councillor Jared Cassidy, Mr Phil Campbell, Principal of Sandgate District State High School, Mrs Lorraine Hockey, P&C President and Lucas Abbey, School Captain SDSHS and past student of Sandgate SS. I must say it was wonderful to see our leaders so positive and keen to embrace the challenge of leadership. We wish our 2017 leaders success and hope that they find the challenge a worthwhile and rewarding experience and we look forward to supporting and nurturing them in their designated roles.
