Harmony Day Celebrations

Mrs Bryant leading GLOSS and BOSS in "Rome Wasn't Built in a Day"
We celebrated Harmony Day 2015 at a special school assembly on Wednesday, 18 March with a sea of orange filling the school hall.  It was great to have our Japanese visitors joining us for the celebration of cultural diversity as well as the Pacific Collaboration Group perform for us.
Congratulations to the winners of the poster competition, Lucy McKenna, Grace Belt and Emily Sullivan. They were presented with their prizes by Mr Stirling Hinchliffe, Member for Sandgate.
The school leaders shared the important messages about what Harmony Day is all about and provided us with three very important messages:
  1. Everyone Belongs
  2. YOU and ME equals US
  3. Together We Can
